Sanlam Dissociates from False Loan Offers

It has come to our attention that a false entity called “Sanlam Loans” is presenting itself as a commercial lender and circulating personal loan offers to consumers under the Sanlam brand name.

The entity uses a fake logo and contact details and presents clients with a “guaranteed” loan offering of 4% return in the forms of personal, commercial, leasing, debt consolidation and home loans.

Sanlam strongly dissociates itself from these loan offers presented by “Sanlam Loans” and is in no way involved in this entity.

Sanlam’s personal loan offer is managed through Sanlam Personal Loans (Pty) Ltd, a registered credit provider, and does not offer any of the abovementioned false services, apart from personal loans.

Sanlam’s Forensic Investigations Unit is investigating these false offers and Sanlam discourages all clients who are approached by this entity from reacting to the offer.
