Anonymous Reporting

Our Fraud and Ethics Hotline is managed by an external provider, which guarantees the anonymity of the person wishing to report fraud or unlawful conduct anonymously. The identity of the person making the report will not be disclosed to Sanlam. Therefore, you do not need to supply your identity or any information that may reveal your identity. By selecting this option, it means that we cannot contact you for more information if needed.

Report Fraud and Unlawful Conduct

If you suspect fraudulent activity involving any of Sanlam’s companies or clients, you can confidentially report this by filling in the form below.

Sanlam recognises the importance of protecting your personal information and as such subscribes to the principles outlined in Section 51 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2002.

This includes but is not limited to the following personal information that you may provide us with in the report fraud form:

  • Your name and surname
  • Contact details and email address

By submitting any personal details to our website or by email, you consent to our processing of data in accordance with this privacy disclaimer. If you do not accept this privacy disclaimer, you should not submit any personal data and you are encouraged to rather use the anonymous reporting facility.

By submitting your personal details, you further consent to Sanlam Forensic Services sharing your data with law enforcement agencies or third parties where required by law.

Sanlam may use your data for assessment and statistical analysis.

Unethical conduct, at any level, ultimately hurts Sanlam and its stakeholders including you. We all have the right to work in a safe, ethical working environment and have a responsibility to our stakeholders to assure that happens.

We all have the right to work in a positive fraud-free environment and with that right, comes the responsibility of acting in an ethical manner and letting the appropriate people know if someone is not acting appropriately. By working together, we can maintain a healthy and productive environment.

Incidents reported on this site are sent directly to the Forensic Services management team and only they have access to these reports.

When you call the anonymous line you are not required to give your name or any personal details.

Sanlam does not provide any monetary compensation for tip off’s.

It is recommended that you use the anonymous reporting facility that is independently managed by a third party.

Unfortunately these are a reality and occur from time to time. The more substantive information provided to us allows us to conduct a meaningful investigation. When reports are sent with unsubstantiated allegations and a lack of evidence, it will not be pursued any further.

Generally an investigation is confidential and takes some time to complete so in most cases information relating to the investigation will not be available to the person who made the tip off.
