Richard joined Simeka in 2011 and is currently the managing director of Simeka Consultants & Actuaries and an Exco member of Sanlam Employee Benefits. Richard is a graduate of the University of Port Elizabeth with a B. Com degree and holds a Diploma in Investment Management. He has over 20 years of experience within the employee benefits industry, has served on various industry bodies and has also consulted extensively to labour on retirement fund-related matters.

Managing Director – B.Com. Hons
Sharon joined Sanlam Healthcare Distribution Services in 2009 and is currently Managing Director of Simeka Health (Pty) Ltd, previously known as Completemed Healthcare Consultants. Sharon is a graduate of the Rand Afrikaans University with a B.Com Hons. degree and completed the GIBS Global Executive Leadership Programme in 2007. Sharon has over 9 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
Director - BCom Honours (Accounting Sciences)
Avishal is the Branch Head of Gauteng for Simeka and a Director of Simeka Health. He obtained his Bachelor of Accounting at the University of Johannesburg in 2007 and his Honours in Accounting Science from UNISA. Avishal has 9 years of experience in financial services and has consulted to some of the largest corporate retirement funds in South Africa. He is passionate about member communication and changing retirement outcomes of South Africans.
Director – MBA
Viresh is the CEO of Sanlam Employee Benefits Client Solutions as well as a Director for Simeka Health. He is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa and holds a BBusSc (Actuarial) as well as an MBA from the University of Cape Town. Viresh has 10 years of experience in the employee benefits industry and has been a part of the Sanlam Benchmark research team for most of that time.
Director – B.Com
Jocelyn joined Sanlam in 2011 and currently holds the position of Head of Finance and Operations for Sanlam Corporate. Jocelyn holds a B. Com (Acc) degree as well as an MBA from the University of Cape Town and completed the GIBS Executive Leadership Development programme. Jocelyn has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and has extensive exposure in asset management, life insurance, broker services, employee benefits, operations, strategy and finance.
