Alert: Beware of a scam on Telegram impersonating Sanlam

It has come to our attention that a malicious third party is purporting to be or act on behalf of Sanlam through the unauthorised use of Telegram as a communication channel. Please be informed that Sanlam does not conduct business via Telegram, does not have a Telegram account, and that this is indeed a scam.

To ensure the security of your personal information, please be aware that all official client communications are conducted through the following channels:

To safeguard your personal information and protect yourself from potential scams, we urge you to:

  • Refrain from sharing personal or financial information through unofficial channels to mitigate the risk of unauthorised access.
  • Report any suspected fraud related incidents: spf.forensicservices@sanlam.co.za.
