We are proud to sponsor the Sanlam Cape Mile – an exciting open water swim that takes place in some of the most beautiful settings the Western Cape has to offer. For the third year in a row, keen swimmers from around the country are offered the chance to take part in a well-organised, safe mass swim at the Eikenhof Dam in Grabouw, Western Cape.
Entrants can choose between an exhilarating full mile (1.6km) and a refreshing 500m swim.

Be part of the second consecutive Sanlam Cape Mile at the Eikenhof Dam in Grabouw, Western Cape on Sunday, 19 February 2017. To choose your swim, here are the descriptions for the Full Route (1.6 km) and the Lite Route (500m).
Dependant on the dam water levels, which would be determined closer to the time, there are two possible routes:
The two lap route will start at the right-hand side of the Grabouw Country Club on the Eikenhof Dam. Four buoys will demarcate the route which is set to finish on the left-hand side of the Grabouw Country Club. The course will be supported by canoeists with medical staff at hand.
The single lap route starts and finishes at the same location, to the left-hand side of the Grabouw Country Club on the Eikenhof Dam. Four to five buoys will demarcate the route, which will be supported by canoeists with medical staff at hand.
The start of the lite route will be located on the right-hand side of the Grabouw Country Club on the Eikenhof Dam. Four buoys will demarcate the route which is set to finish on the left hand side of the Grabouw Country Club. The course will be supported by canoeists with medical staff at hand.
