Purpose

  • Assist in the design and development of the Data Warehouse
  • Develop integration between required systems via the Data Warehouse

Purpose of Job:
The job entails executing transactions in private equity deals, on entry, exit, restructuring and follow-on investments. The candidate will also be responsible for portfolio management of existing investments as well as reporting on investments to SPE’s clients.

Key Responsibilities
Operating on our new administration platform - Sanlam New Administration Process (SNAP)-this position entails but is not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily capturing of member trade reports on to the system (Interlink database)
  • Ensure that cash flows imported on allocated portfolios on the system are valid and investigate any discrepancies
  • Daily importing of market values received from Asset Managers
  • Assisting the Technical Review team to ensure that the daily market values are correct. This is done by following up with Asset Managers regarding inconsistencies
  • Classifying instruments to comply with Regulation 28 of the Pension Fund Act
  • Understand and keep abreast of all Service Level Agreements to be able to provide specific instructions to Clients
