Sing’it Lyrics Competition![]() Sanlam strongly cares about embracing talented artists from all corners of our country. That is why we have partnered with LitNet, MK (DSTV Channel 324) and nine of South Africa’s most famous musicians, inviting talented songwriters to submit their lyrics to be recorded as an official music single with one of the eminent artists. The competition was launched on 7 September 2011 and entries closed at the end of October 2011.Since then, the judges – who also happen to be the nine artists – have had to sift through the entries, select their favourite lyrics and compose an official single. The nine unknown and incredibly talented songwriters chosen, are:
In addition to having their lyrics chosen, each songwriter receives an iPad2 and R3 000.
