About Us

Sanlam Healthcare Management (SHM) is a medical aid administrator recognised by the South African Council for Medical Schemes and is wholly owned by Sanlam Life. We currently administer the Bestmed medical scheme and the Chartered Accountants’ Medical Aid Fund (CAMAF) after having merged with Eternity Private Healthcare in May 2010. This means we have more than 175 000 lives under management consequently positioning SHM as a key player in the healthcare market.
