How are investments made into the Sanlam Liquid Fixed Term Investment? You can invest with Sanlam Liquid at any time in the following ways:
* As the Sanlam Liquid Fixed Term Investment is only made once a week, i.e. every Thursday, your money received earlier in the same week will be invested in a Sanlam Liquid Savings Account within 24 hours of receipt. This ensures that you receive a return on your investment until it is transferred to a Sanlam Liquid Fixed Term Investment. The closing date for an investment will be every Thursday at 12h00. When the Thursday or Friday is a public holiday, the investment must be received by 12h00 of the Wednesday.
How interest accrues Interest on the Sanlam Liquid Fixed Term Investment will accrue daily on your original invested amount. Interest can be paid out either monthly or at the end of the term. Interest rates quoted exclude any fees charged by Sanlam Liquid and your Sanlam adviser or your broker. Interest rates are available from Sanlam Liquid on the Monday preceding the investment date.
Fees charged by Sanlam Liquid Annual service fees charged by Sanlam Liquid are calculated using a sliding scale and are directly related to the size of the investment - larger investments attract lower fees. The fees are calculated daily and deducted from the interest due to the investor. Sanlam Liquid’s annual service fees are detailed in the table below:
