Transaction Cut-Off Times

The South African Reserve Bank controls the cut-off times for payments – Sanlam Liquid abides by these. The following cut-off times are applicable to payments:

 

Payments from a Sanlam Liquid account to a Sanlam Liquid account


The payments will be processed immediately and sent to the recipient's account, irrespective of which day of the week the transaction is done. These transactions are free.

 

Payments from a Sanlam Liquid account to a bank account

 

Weekdays


Transaction value    Time received  Time processed
All amounts   Before 13:00  By 14:00 of the same business day
All amounts After 13:00  By 14:00 of the next business day

 

Saturdays


Transaction value    Time received  Time processed 
All amounts Before 10:00  At the end of the same business day
All amounts After 10:00  At the end of the next business day

 

Sundays and public holidays


All payments will be processed on the following business day.
