Using this Website

If you'd like to learn more about how this website works, browse through our question-and-answer section below.

I'm looking for a page from the old website. Where can I find it?

Unfortunately, pages from our old website are no longer available. What we have done however, is to take the 500 most used pages on the old website and, where possible, we've redirected them to the equivalent page on the new website. So, if you've bookmarked a page from the old website, it should automatically redirect you to the new website.

To find what you're looking for, you can use our new and improved search facility, available at the top right of the page.

If you still cannot find the "new" page, you can contact the call centre and they'll gladly assist you.

My browser tells me I need JavaScript enabled. What does this mean?

The Sanlam website uses the latest available technology, which requires you to have your browser JavaScript enabled in order to get the full experience. Website browsers are JavaScript-enabled by default, but if you've edited your security settings or specifically de-activated JavaScript, you'll be getting the message that you need JavaScript enabled.

It would be best to enable JavaScript as very few websites can interact with a user without it.

If you're still experiencing problems after ensuring that JavaScript is enabled in your browser, please check if you have any personal firewall or security software installed.

Is it safe to allow pop-ups?

Pop-ups have developed a bad reputation over the years, not least because they tend to be overused on some websites and become rather annoying.

Pop-ups have been implemented selectively on the Sanlam website, so it would be best to allow pop-ups while visiting us, in order to experience all of the features our website has to offer.
