Hope runs through the Sanlam Group in everything we think and do. The Sanlam Foundation is yet another way we’re doing all we can to lift South Africa to a higher level. We want to see real change in social development, the care of our ecology, and ultimately the financial security of the communities we work with.

We believe that all this is possible through collaboration with proficient partners who are committed to making a meaningful impact to the underserved communities of our country.

Operation HOPE

Through our partnership with Operation HOPE, a US-based not-for-profit organisation which seeks to improve economic quality of life for individuals, Sanlam is able to bring much-needed financial literacy education to high school pupils. All financial literacy classes are presented by Sanlam employees who have been trained as volunteer facilitators.

The Regency Foundation

The Sanlam Foundation partners with the Regency Foundation on the HIV&Me programme in Kwa-Zulu Natal. HIV&Me is a unique school and community based education and prevention programme which aims to reach at least 9000 Grade 8 and 9 pupils from 20 schools in KwaZulu-Natal over the next three years.

WWF-SA

WWF is one of the world’s largest and most respected independent conservation organisations, with a global network active in over 100 countries. Through the WWF Sanlam Living Waters Partnership, Sanlam and the WWF seek to catalyse concerted action from government, the private sector and civil society around the sound management of South Africa’s freshwater and marine resources.
