Chief Executives

From 1918 through to the present day, Sanlam has had various people at the helm. Read more on the company’s chief executives during its interesting and illustrious history.

Sanlam's top leaders didn’t always follow each other chronologically – at times there was some overlap, as well as frequent changes in titles.

20 June 1918 – October 1918 (died of influenza during the Spanish flu epidemic)

1918 – June 1920

Acting managing director from 1918.

Acting managing director from 4 June 1920 – 1922.
