Under the Sanlam Umbrella Fund employers can choose between a number of suitable investment options.
The employer selects one of the four trustee approved investment strategies for all assets to be invested in:
Members may opt out and invest all or part of their savings in the Sanlam Monthly Bonus Fund.Qualifying members will also have access to the Glacier Platform.

Members, however, have the option to opt out of the default and to make an individual member investment choice from a range of suitable investment portfolios; members can choose between a maximum of 4 of the following portfolios available:
Under the comprehensive and optimal options, more than 1 000 retail collective investment (schemes CIS) are available on Sanlam’s Glacier investment administration platform.
As part of this offering, members can also choose to invest the equity component of their investments in their own personalised share portfolio via Sanlam Private Wealth.
